FAQ

The price for the services of Unique Claims Solutions are established in the contract signed with the clients, like any other firm that adjusts claims in the State of Florida. It cannot exceed 20% of the total amount obtained for the client in cases that are not reported during a declared state of Emergency. If the claim is made during a State of Emergency, the maximum that is charged for the services can never exceed 10% of the amount recovered for the client.
The first thing is to review your insurance policy to verify that the loss or damage suffered is covered. It is also important to take into account the circumstances or events that caused the damage. Once the Insurance Company is informed of the claim and begins to investigate it, it has 90 days to compensate the client or deny the claim, although in many cases this period is much shorter. If the company denies paying for the repair of the damage and it is covered by the policy, the process may be longer.
Homeowners, apartment, or condo insurance policies expire one year after they are issued. With each renewal, the price may change depending on the rates or tariffs established by the State to quote insurance. The renewal proposal always specifies the cause of the price change. Making a claim to the insurance company is not one of those causes
Property owners or Homeowners policies normally have coverage for these cases called Loss of Use or Loss of habitability. In these cases always remember to keep all receipts for accommodation and food. It is highly recommended to contact your adjuster or the insurance company, as they can offer solutions for each specific event, taking into account the characteristics of the damage and the time needed to repair it.

If you were compensated but could not fully repair the damages because the amount offered did not cover the required expenses, you can open the same claim as a supplement asking the Insurance Company for the difference you need. Keeping the photos of the completed repairs as well as the paid receipts is always recommended, as it is proof that the repair was carried out properly. If the other claim is for an entirely new damage, which is also covered by your policy, you have the right to present the new case to the insurance company.
